MEGA
China is (in)famous for its Mega-Cities. During my numerous visits to the country, I captured some of those giant urban conglomerates in photographs. A selection of those are exhibited at the Gallery-Café Maya in Rostock from 30 Nov 2018 until 29 Jan 2019. These photographs display the dramatic contrasts that play out in Mega-Cities; they show the ultra-modern architecture of flashy skylines right next to the cramped reality of people's everyday lives.
